Orthopaedic sleeve cast
BX Cast is a tubular polyurethane cast with a double-layer cotton lining. Slide it on, activate it with water, and it sets to stable fixation in about twenty minutes. Fully radiolucent, breathable and light on the limb.
How it's made
Designed for external fixation of fractures, including paediatric cases. Flexible shaping, radiolucent, and comfortable protection for the patient.
Knitted in a diamond mesh weave that stretches in both directions.
Water-activated. Hardens into a light resin exoskeleton.
Soft padded cuffs at each end protect the skin at the edges.
Pulled on like clothing, so there is no spiral wrapping to do.

Why clinicians choose it
Worn like clothing. Bidirectional stretch ensures precise joint fixation.
Monitor healing on X-ray without removing the cast.
Mesh lining reduces sweat and infection risk while keeping curing warmth.
Water-activated. Quick, clean, painless removal with a cast saw.
A resin exoskeleton gives sturdy support and noticeably less limb burden.
Rapid hardening shortens the procedure and reduces discomfort.
Water-activated curing reaches stable fixation strength within twenty minutes.
A better rehabilitation experience for patients and strong margins for providers.
